Many of our clients travel from outside Portsmouth to visit our studio, and for some, their photoshoot becomes the perfect excuse to enjoy a little time away too.
Whether you're travelling from across Hampshire, elsewhere in the UK or even further afield, with a little planning you can turn your photography session into a relaxing day out—or even a short break on the South Coast.

Getting to Our Portsmouth Studio
Planning your journey in advance can make travelling to your photoshoot simple and stress-free.
If you're travelling by train, booking ahead can often save money and helps us understand your timings so we can plan your appointment around your arrival.
We know that travelling from further afield can sometimes come with unexpected delays, whether that's traffic, train disruptions or simply a longer-than-expected journey.
When you let us know where you're travelling from, we can make sure there is enough flexibility around your appointment wherever possible.
Our studio is based in Portsmouth, with excellent transport links from across the South Coast and beyond.
Staying in Portsmouth
If you're travelling a longer distance, staying overnight can be a great way to make your visit more relaxed.
Portsmouth and Southsea offer accommodation options to suit a range of budgets and styles, from familiar hotel chains to boutique stays and seafront hotels.
We are always happy to share suggestions based on what kind of visit you're planning—whether you're looking for somewhere practical and convenient or somewhere to make your trip feel like a proper getaway.
Make More of Your Visit
Many clients choose to travel to us and head home on the same day, with visitors arriving by train from places such as Leicester and Liverpool, driving from Devon and Wales, and some even flying into nearby Southampton when travelling from Ireland and further afield.
But Portsmouth is also a fantastic place to spend a little extra time. And its a busy but luckily small city. So you can pack a lot in with everything so close together.
A short distance from our studio, you'll find the historic dockyard, the seafront at Southsea, independent cafés, restaurants and breweries, as well as plenty of places to explore.
If shopping is your thing, Gunwharf Quays offers designer outlets, restaurants and waterfront views. For something a little different, there are escape rooms, coastal walks and even the option to hop aboard the hovercraft for a quick trip across to the Isle of Wight.
Why not arrive the evening before, enjoy a relaxed morning exploring Portsmouth, have your photoshoot with us, and then continue enjoying everything the South Coast has to offer?
Your Photoshoot, Your Experience
We believe a photoshoot should be more than simply arriving, taking photographs and heading home.
For many clients, travelling to Portsmouth becomes part of the experience—a chance to create something special while enjoying a change of scenery.
We'd love to welcome you to our Portsmouth studio, wherever you're travelling from.
