Meet The Team

A Portrait photographer for over 15 years, James has an outstanding knowledge of social photography and the technical skills needed to achieve amazing images.

Throughout James' career he has achieved a number of awards, and professional accreditations, accomplishing 'Fellow' status with both the MPA & SWPP, an accolade only given for an extraordinary body of work presented to a panel of professional judges.

As a mentor, judge, speaker and photographer James brings a wealth of experience and an energy you really have to experience.

Fliss has a varied background in both creative and business, with a Photography Degree, and Professional Diploma in Marketing Fliss left a busy corporate environment in Marketing to be part of 'Team Musselwhite' full time in 2013.

Creative aspects of the business stretch from props and set design (you will see her painting backdrops & making costumes) to offering concept planning for videography & design services for corporate clients in web design, and logos.

Zoe has extensive experience in customer relations and we are really fortunate to welcome her to the team in 2022.

Zoe's wonderfully sunny personality is ready to help with queries, offer advice and be on hand to manage the diary. She is often your first contact with Musselwhite Photography & a super important member of the team.

Having worked in a variety of industries, Zoe's experience with social media and her technical wizardry keeps us all in check!

We are an Independent Portrait Photography Studio. Originally Founded as 'Closer Photography' in 2008 for Wedding & Portrait Photography. In 2020 we have transitioned to Musselwhite Photography to reflect the changes in the business to a wider offering including commercial photography, videography, and James' mentoring, teaching & speaking assignments.

We love Photography, we love imagery, we love the possibilities of a blank piece of paper. We may offer a variety of services but there is an unmistakeable style throughout our work that holds true to the 'Musselwhite Photography' brand and the way we connect with people.
