At the risk of sounding like a broken record...A great headshot can open doors.
Whether you are an actor updating your casting profile, a performer building your portfolio, a creative refreshing your online presence, or simply someone who knows it is time for a better photograph, your headshot is often the first introduction people have to you.
But we also understand that investing in professional photography isn't always easy. Sometimes you don't need a full portrait experience — you simply need a fresh, professional image that represents you properly. And to keep up to date that can be quite an investment. We wanted to find a way to support regular updates at a reduced price point.
That's why we created Headshot Days.
What are Headshot Days?
Once a month, we dedicate a full day at our Portsmouth studio exclusively to headshot appointments.
Think of it as a studio event — a dedicated day where we welcome a limited number of people in for professional headshots.
We bring a number of headshot bookings together on one dedicated day. This allows us to plan the studio, lighting and schedule efficiently, while creating a more accessible way for people to book professional headshots.

You simply visit the booking link, choose your appointment time, book online, and turn up ready for your session. Your appointment is reserved in your diary and ours at the same time, making the whole process simple and straightforward.
We release each new date around 6 weeks ahead and bookings for each date close when they are fully booked or 48 hours before the headshot day starts.
Your 30-minute appointment covers your complete headshot experience at the studio.
When you arrive, we take time to welcome you in, understand what you need from your images and discuss the look, mood and lighting that will work best for you.
We then create your headshots together, with expert guidance throughout the session. As we capture your images, we review the selection on screen and work together to create your shortlist. Most people have already picked favourites at this point.
Your shortlist images are then uploaded to a private gallery for you to view later, where you select your three included images for professional editing.
The process is simple, guided and designed to make sure you leave with headshots you feel confident using.
To Recap - Your Headshot Day experience includes:
A dedicated 30-minute studio appointment
Professional studio lighting
Expert direction throughout your session
A relaxed and supportive environment
A tethered viewing screen
Time to discuss your requirements and preferred style
Image review and selection support
Professionally edited final images
How are we able to offer Headshot Days at this price?

The short answer?
We haven't reduced the photography experience — we have changed the way the sessions are scheduled.
Our private headshot sessions remain available throughout the year and are the best option for people who need complete flexibility. The individual private sessions allow you to choose a date that works for you. Plus those appointments can be extended if you need additional time, or a more tailored experience.
Headshot Days work differently.
Think of them as a monthly studio event — a dedicated day where once a month we open our doors exclusively for a limited number of headshot appointments. By bringing several sessions together on the same day, we can plan the diary more efficiently and create a more accessible option.
The session itself remains the same. You still receive the same studio environment, the same professional guidance and the same care in creating a great final image.
The difference is simply the format. Rather than booking a standalone appointment on a date of your choice, you choose from the available Headshot Day dates and times.
It is a different way of accessing the service — not a reduced version of it.
It is a great option for anyone who needs a professional headshot refresh, wants their first professional image, or has been putting it off because they weren't sure where to start.
